Mohaned Al-Humadi, M.D. Joins Olean General Hospital

Olean General Hospital (OGH) is announcing that Mohaned Al-Humadi, M.D. has joined the hospital’s medical staff. Dr. Al-Humadi, who was born and raised in Olean, is fellowship trained in sports medicine and specializes in advanced arthroscopic treatment for shoulders, knees and hips, comprehensive shoulder and knee surgery, as well as minimally invasive procedures.
“Dr. Al-Humadi is exceptionally trained and we’re pleased to welcome him back to the community,” said William F. Mills, senior vice president of quality and professional affairs at Upper Allegheny Health System. “With his breadth of experience treating NFL and NHL players, along with Division I college athletes, he further enhances our hospital’s sports medicine program for active adults and high school athletes.”
Dr. Al-Humadi received his Bachelor of Art’s from Johns Hopkins University, and his Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook. He completed his residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center and his fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
In addition to several high school and college athletic programs, Dr. Al-Humadi has served on the sports medicine staff for the New York Islanders and the New York Jets. His practice will be located on the first floor of Olean General Hospital, adjacent to the physical therapy department.
